While tight inventories continue to constrain sales, the robust economy has fueled demand and pushed sales to record levels for the third straight year, according to the most recent analysis of the existing home market by the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA).

Median Home sale price in Waukesha County rose from $256,750 in December of 2016 to $277,750 in 2017. Extremely low inventory levels throughout the year drove record high prices.

Home sales over last year in December down slightly. 424 homes sold in 2016 vrs 398 in 2017. We had a very good year for sales, but we would have sold a lot more homes had there been more homes on the market. Low inventory means new homes that hit the market are selling quickly.
